About the property
No doubt influenced by us, our friends have come to appreciate the value of beautiful doors. ‘Us’ in this case means ‘we’, the managing directors of Brüchert + Kärner. Tina and Daniel bravely took on an ageing bungalow, which was completely gutted and renovated and then, furnished with old and new design classics, transformed into an unconventional, contemporary home. Not a single wall remained where it was. However, not everything was thoughtlessly discarded. The highlight was the rescue of a bookcase originally made by a joiner, which had been designed back then to be sturdy and a perfect fit for the living room. Its new surroundings now give it a thoroughly modern look.
